Role Description
UST is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Software Tester for web-based business solutions.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and possess strong testing skills. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and possess strong testing skills. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing related to existing applications and new functionality
- Communicate closely with Business Analyst and Engineers
- Test business processes through UI and front end primarily in Salesforce
- Validate Salesforce object settings, such as field type or description as well as visual flows
- Log in as different personas to test for user specific roles
- Carry out tests based on business requirements and acceptance criteria
- Document test results and/or create bug tickets for failing tests
- Maintain log of regression test cases related to applications
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies
- Proactive share accomplishments, knowledge, and lessons within the team.
- Collaborate frequently with engineers to review testing results
- At least 6 years’ experience testing web applications
- Detail oriented with prior experience testing business applications
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable communicating via Slack, email and in remote meetings (Zoom)
- Curious and thorough learning existing applications and processes
- Proactive about asking questions and requesting clarification
- Must be thorough in bug documentation when reviewing failed tests
- Enjoys documenting test results and contributing to documentation repository
- Familiar with SDLC and updating tickets in JIRA
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, preferable in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering
- Background in Retail business is a plus
- Amenable to working mid shift schedule
