THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a well-established and award-winning insurance brokerage, dedicated to providing tailored insurance solutions across Australia. With a strong focus on client relationships, they cater to business professionals, farmers, tradies, and families, ensuring exceptional service and comprehensive coverage.


They are currently seeking a Broker Support Professional to work closely with the Director, providing high-level support to enhance client service and business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage receipt of documentation, general mail, and client file maintenance.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, correspondence, and follow-ups.
  • Assist the Director with enquiries, requests, and general office duties.
  • Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy maintenance.
  • Prepare and manage communications between clients, underwriters, and the brokerage.
  • Handle claims support, including submissions, follow-ups, and status updates.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of transactions and communications.


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years in insurance broking or a related role (preferably Australian broking experience).
  • Strong understanding of policy management and client service.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ensures accuracy in documentation and client communications.
  • Service-focused with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong integrity, teamwork, and commitment to delivering great client outcomes.
