Job Summary:


The Procurement & Logistics Manager is responsible for developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness. This role oversees supplier evaluation, contract management, and purchasing strategies while ensuring the timely delivery of quality goods and services. Additionally, the manager supervises logistics operations, conducts supplier audits, monitors market trends, and collaborates with internal teams to optimize procurement and logistics performance.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create Procurement Policy, Procedures and processes to ensure compliance.
  • Assess total costs of company purchases.
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the procurement process.
  • Manage and drive the Procurement and Logistics Officer.
  • Elaborate, coordinate, and work on purchasing and cooperation targets for suppliers.
  • Establish procedures that ensure that all vendors meet company compliance criteria in the areas of quality, cost, delivery, and environment.
  • Establishes bid standards and prepares procurement documents and contracts for the purchase of materials and services.
  • Responsible for ensuring records are maintained and procurements are documented from origination through completion.
  • Conducts and manages the process for the evaluations of proposals, offers and bids in accordance with internal policy and external local, state, and federal regulations while selecting the best supplier in accordance with solicitation requirements.
  • Conduct periodical audits of suppliers and service provide in accordance with company policies
  • Propose/Recommend to HR and Training department training solution for procurement personnel that would improve the department performance and develop the skills of employees.
  • Assures suppliers deliver materials and services in accordance with standards of price, time, quantity and quality agreed upon.
  • Assure that material/services will be delivered on schedule, at negotiated price and meet required quality standards.
  • Assures all invoices are audited for compliance with contract terms and supervises contract closeout.
  • Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
  • Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company.
  • Identify and research potential new suppliers.
  • Research new products and services to meet company's goals.
  • Develops own skills and industry knowledge in all areas of Procurement as required by the Company and as part of continuous learning and improvement through but not limited to further studies; trainings; etc.
  • Responsible to comply with the requirements of the current PCAR regulations and PhilJets duly approved safety management systems, processes and procedures as applicable to the daily operation of his/her department and ensuring that all his subordinate employees perform and adheres with the highest level of quality, efficiency and safety at all times.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as needed. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate such as but not limited to changes in workload; rush jobs; emergencies; etc.
