Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Cebu. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and plating. The role also involves ensuring food quality and presentation, managing kitchen staff, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in culinary arts, cooking, and food preparation
  • Skills in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff and work effectively in a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Creativity and passion for culinary arts
  • Formal culinary training or related certifications
  • Experience in high-end or specialty restaurants is a plus
